Please register soon for NW Social Justice Conference

Dear Northwest Teaching for Social Justice friends,

The 6th annual NWTSJ conference is just over two weeks away. Almost 60 workshops on exemplary social justice teaching and critical issues in education. Early registration numbers are healthy and we're looking forward to another inspiring, idea-filled gathering. The Seattle-based conference planners have asked everyone to register by October 9th, if at all possible, as they need to get numbers to the people who are preparing lunch so that they can order the food. -- The conference is still just $30, and $5 for students, including those in teacher education programs. Register at www.nwtsj.org.
When: Saturday October 19th
Where: Chief Sealth International High School, Seattle (2600 SW Thistle St., Seattle)
Register: www.nwtsj.org
Remember, we now have the tentative program for the conference posted at the website.
And if you need help with housing in Seattle, please contact Dan Troccoli, dantroccoli@gmail.com, who is helping match folks who have room with those needing places to stay.
See you in Seattle.
